I STORMEN VILAR JAG är ett nytt scenkonstverk från gruppen Teater Char Da Mar som riktar blicken mot de kvinnor som gjorde Norrbotten, Sápmi och Meänmaa till vad det är idag. I en explosiv teaterupplevelse i en scenografi av is och snö ute på isen på Torne älv berättas tre kvinnliga levnadsöden från 1900-talets början. I STORMEN VILAR JAG blandar nykomponerad musik, sång, dans och teater för att berätta de bortglömda pionjärernas historier, i en miljö utan manliga perspektiv.

 

Verket spelades februari 2022 på Torne älv i Pajala.

IN THIS STORM I REST is a new live performance piece by emerging theatre company Teater Char Da Mar which turns the focus on the women who made Norrbotten, Sápmi and Meänmaa what they are today. In an explosive theatre experience in a set design made of ice and snow on the frozen Torne river the story of three female lives from the beginning of the 20th century will be told. IN THIS STORM I REST blends original music, song, dance and theatre to tell the stories of the forgotten pioneers in an environment without male perspectives.

 

The piece was performed in February 2022 on Torne river in Pajala.
